The Events committee arranged a new event on the 15th of May. The event is an excursion to CQM in Eindhoven. CQM is a consulting company that uses quantitative methods to solve mainly logistical and data-based challenges. They work for companies like ASML, Philips, NS, and ProRail.
The company visit starts at 14:00 (walk-in at 13:30) and ends at 16:30. During the company visits CQM will talk about who they are, and provide two case examples and theory of projects they worked on and which are in line with the interests of our alumni. The content of the cases will be made known later. At the end, there will be a competitive game. The trip ends with the possibility to go to the Wilhelminaplein (a 5-minute walk) to a cafe and have a drink together to close off the day.
CQM is easily reachable by train (a 15-minute walk from the station) and there are parking spots available for visitors.
