On this page, we have listed answers to some frequently asked questions. If your question is not amongst the list below, do not hesitate to contact us via info@bekader.nl!

I am a member, how can I activate my account?

If you just have become a member, you have received an email to activate your account. If you have not just become a member or don't have the activation link, please send an email to secretaris@bekader.nl to request an activation email.

I want to sign-up/create an account, but it says the given emailadress is used for an archived account.

This probably means you already receive our newsletters. Please send an email to secretaris@bekader.nl so that we can make sure to finish your sign-up.

What advantages do I get when I become a member?

When you become a member, you get free access to all our events (note that in some rare cases there is a small activity fee). These events are both profesionally interesting as well as a great opportunity to maintain and increase your network! Furthermore, you are kept up to date about relevant updates of the university and inspiring stories of fellow alumni.

What is the membership fee?

The membership/contribution fee is only €25 per association year (September - August), that's only €2 a month! For recent graduates or students, the first year is free and the second year is only €10. Good deal right?

Do I need to have a masters degree (MSc.) to become a member?

No, you need to have completed a programme of (International) Business Administration or Industrial Engineering & Management at the University of Twente, this can be both a bachelor (BSc.) or master (MSc.) programme.

I am not a member, but want to join an event. Is that possible?

Yes, you can join events. However, some might be 'members only' and you might need to pay a fee which members do not have to pay.

Can I declare costs I make for Bekader with my employer?

We know that it is a possibility that your employer is willing to reimburse the costs you make for Bekader as we are also a professional network. Please check with your employer.
