About Bekader

Bekader is the alumni association for business graduates of the University of Twente: alumni of International Business Administration, Business Administration and Industrial Engineering & Management (and predecessors of these studies). We organise different activities throughout the year, related to personal development, networking and social aspects. So, through Bekader, you stay connected to your study friends, fellow alumni from the UT, and to innovations from the business discipline.

Network

Via Bekader, you can get in touch with hundreds of fellow alumni that are working in several sectors and spread across the globe. Bekader aims to enable alumni to connect. You might find a content expert for your latest project, the right person to get you into a new company, or that long-lost friend from your student life.

Membership

For new members, the first year is free and the second year only costs €10,-. Afterwards, a membership costs €25,- per year. This allows you to join all events for free! You can become a member by clicking here!

Bekader Thesis Awards

Every year, in October, Bekader organises an evening during which we invite 3 BA and 3 IE&M alumni (graduated in the previous academic year) present their excellent thesis. Afterwards, all attendees are asked to rank the given presentations. When the results are in, the best BA and best IE&M thesis receive that year’s Bekader Thesis Award! The 2nd and 3rd place receive a prize as well, so a win is guaranteed. Confident about your thesis? You can become a candidate by filling in this form, latest on the 31st of August.
