Bekader Thesis Awards 2023-2024
On Thursday, March 13, the finale of the Bekader Thesis Awards took place in Utrecht! It was an inspiring event filled with captivating presentations by six excellent, recently graduated professionals.
In two categories - MSc. Business Administration and MSc. Industrial Engineering and Management - three finalists competed for the top spot. Each nominee presented their thesis project in a 10-minute pitch, followed by a lively Q&A session. Ultimately, the attendees determined the winners through a vote.

🏆 Winners MSc. Industrial Engineering and Management:
📊 1. Daniël Roelink - Optimization of return freight selection
📊 2. Nienke Rusch - Monetizing carbon emissions: A product investment decision-making method under carbon pricing uncertainty
📊 3. Hans Hazelzet - Development of the mental health of teenagers and young adults after the COVID-19 pandemic
