Batavierenrace
Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that Bekader will participate in the Batavierenrace 2026!
The Batavierenrace is the largest relay race in the world and traditionally runs from Nijmegen to Enschede. The race consists of 25 stages, which are divided among three teams within one overall squad. Our night team starts in Nijmegen and runs the first series of stages through the night. At the first restart point, the second team takes over and continues towards the second restart location. There, the final team begins the last stages and brings the relay to the finish in Enschede.
The individual stages vary in length from approximately 3 to 12 kilometres. This variation allows us to find a suitable distance for everyone, whether you are an experienced runner looking for a longer stage or someone who prefers a shorter distance.
The Batavierenrace is not only about performance and endurance, but also about atmosphere and the shared experience. After the final runner crosses the finish line, there is a large festival in the evening, where participants celebrate together.
